MyHomeTutor provides best practice teaching methodology, very similar to that used by the teacher in the classroom. Where practical we integrate graphics and animation. However, our aim is not to provide games or entertainment, we are serious in our intent to ensure that the teaching moment is totally understood and accurately presented by the teacher.

Your child control’s the pace of the lesson, eliminating frustration and peer–pressure, often evident in the classroom environment.

When something needs to be tested or reconfirmed, it is a simple matter of replaying the teacher’s presentation, as many times as required, until the information is completely understood, before moving on.

The system is as easy as 1–2–3

1. We pre–assess your child before they start the lesson, helping the system to identify if they understand the work or not. In this module your child is given immediate feedback as to whether they have given the correct answer or not.

2. If the system identifies that your child requires more in–depth understanding then MyHomeTutor provides the most comprehensive solution. A one–on–one video tutorial presented by a teacher giving a step–by–step instruction, including demonstration of how and where the subject matter is used.

3. The student MUST then complete an exam which consolidates the learning cycle. This measures retention and understanding of the lesson content and provides your child with immediate feedback on their achievements, allowing them to re–watch the tutorial and attempt the exam as many times as they need, until they are confident that they fully understand the lesson.

Results are dynamically updated and synchronised with the MyHomeTutor Administration Server upon completion of the lesson, or when you child exits the program.

Information relating to elements completed or passed are processed with the MyHomeTutor remote server, providing you, as the parent, direct access to exactly how each child on the service is progressing.

Both statistical and detailed progress reports on each lesson is available to students and parents 24/7 using any internet web browser.

Each student is provided with a unique user name and password providing security to their personal information and detailed results. Only parents have access to this information for monitoring and reporting purposes.
